Keeping Hope Alive: Making a Difference for Syria Our second webinar of 2018 included a presentation by one of MFA’s Participating Organizations, the Valley Syrian Relief Committee, which is based in Massachusetts. This three-person team utilizes a network of local faith-based groups to support their fundraising and education efforts in and around the Pioneer Valley—to great success. They have raised approximately $170,000 in fundraising dollars to support Syrians. Their events have included an interfaith prayer service, a Songs for Syria concert fundraiser, and more.
