Sample Script For Your Calls:

I'm calling to ask [Representative/Senator name] as [his/her] constituent to issue a statement insisting that action by the WH and the UN be taken for the people of Eastern Ghouta before it is too late.

Today, around 400,000 civilians are trapped in Eastern Ghouta, near Damascus, and are facing a barbaric campaign of airstrikes, missiles and heavy artillery bombardment, with various instruments of destruction, including internationally prohibited weapons such as (Napalm, Phosphorus bombs, Chemical weapons and toxic gases). In addition to a relentless campaign of indiscriminate bombardment from the air, civilians have faced several military incursions via land that have caused displacements of residents from their towns. This massive campaign follows years of blockade, bombing and nonstop military campaigns against the civilian population.

In just three weeks, as a result of heavy shelling on civilian neighborhoods and residential buildings, nearly one thousand lives were lost and thousands were injured. Among the victims are hundreds of children, women, and elderly people. The assault on Ghouta is being carried out in conjunction with the deliberate targeting of dozens of medical points, hospitals, ambulances and civil defense centers, with the goal of deliberately obstructing the rescue of the injured and the recovery of victims' bodies.
Please act now!

Thank you so much for your time.
